Since 2003, the CUT has organized advanced training courses for actors performers on behalf of the Umbria Region and the Province of Perugia, through use of the European Social Fund under an agreement with the Teatro Stabile of official ' Umbria.
The courses have been admitted, after careful sample selection, a maximum of 15 students who had completed 18 years of age, who were in possession of a high school diploma and that they had had experiences documented in the theater or had attended at least one year of studies in theater at professional facilities.
The courses, aimed at training of a professional specializing in a position to meet the new demands of the theatrical market and operate in different working environments and social and cultural contexts of the area, were provided a total of 600/900 hours articulated in a modular structure for a practical laboratory skills and an intense stage.

Each course for actors performers allows to refine and complete their communication skills and artistic skills of the actors and actresses performing in terms of their employability in the labor market through the study of styles and techniques of acting with particular attention to the performative acting, writing, stage, drama and performing the analytical techniques of the texts. Each
course is module-based approach to developing skills and teaching the following lines:
- set up and record energy and plastic of the actor and his stage presence.
- Principles and theatrical techniques.
- Writing dramaturgical and performative-writing stage.
- Setting up and recording of vocal techniques.
- Acquisition and comparison of theatrical acting techniques.
